Peaceful presence

When I came for prayer today, I just said I wanted to be open to what Holy Spirit wanted to say. The prayers and note from the intercessor really spoke into all the chaos. I felt a peace and the presence of God

Knee feels better

I have been having prayer because my knee was septic. Since my last visit it feels a lot better and now I can sleep better as well. I just find it so relaxing here.

God healed my bowel and so much more

For over 20 years I have had an ongoing problem with IBS, debilitating pain and the progressive deterioration in the condition of my bowel to the extent that it did not function at all without invasive intervention.

I was due to attend an appointment with the Consultant to arrange surgery for the fitting of a colostomy bag, but a friend encouraged me to visit Healing Rooms for prayer first. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the team were sensitive to my needs and put me at ease. I asked that there would be a change in my colon so that I might not need to have surgery. The team assured me of God’s love for me and prayed restoration as they spoke a good report over me, and life to my whole being. They quoted part of a scripture from the bible to me, which says; “A good report makes your bones healthy” (Proverbs 15:30).

I felt an instant change. I sensed movement in the area of my colon that had never worked properly, but that wasn’t all! It just felt like a huge wieght was being lifted off me from my feet upwards, right to the top of my head. For longer than I can remember my life has been full of depression, pain, tiredness and a complete lack of energy, regularly resulting in long periods of time in bed, but suddenly I felt full of life, energy and vitality.

On that first visit, I had not mentioned to the team that I was also due to have surgery on my womb. Scans had been done and I was informed of the measurements of a tumour, polyps and  folds that had been diagnosed there. Neither had I mentioned the longstanding problem with food intolerance. In having prayer, I got so much more than I asked for. I was aware of such love that I asked Jesus to be Lord of my life. The team explained that I was now a new creation in Jesus.

I visited Healing Rooms again. I was having terrible pain in my back and could hardly walk. I was drained of colour in my face and was truly weary. However I was filled with a desire to return to say thank you to Jesus for what He had already done. As soon as I walked in I could sense the presence of God. When I was being prayed for, I had a burning sensation in my back. The pain disappeared immediately. Suddenly I could walk properly and once again I was filled with energy.

By the time I made this second visit I had three wonderful reports to share. Firstly, I had been back to see the Consultant about the bowel problem. Surgery had not been needed because my bowel was now healed and now functioning perfectly. Secondly, I’d had the planned surgery on my womb and had the follow-up appointment with the surgeon. I asked him if he had been able to remove all the bad bits and was delighted when he said that there had not been anything there for him to remove!!! He said he couldn’t explain how this had happened. I know that God healed everything that had previously shown up on the scan. Thirdly, another bonus is that I no longer have any food intolerances. Just as the team said, God’s will is for me to be completely whole.

All my family and friends say I am like a new woman, in every area. I am full of life, happy, confident and completely filled with peace. Now, I never even think about my painful past physical and emotional traumas. No more flashbacks.
Thank you so much Jesus.

God changed my x-ray and healed my lung

“When I visited Healing Rooms for prayer I had been battling with a severe, on-going chest infection for quite some time. I seemed to have a weakness in that I often suffered from chest infections. After quite a while, the symptoms were not improving despite having taken several courses of antibiotics and steroids prescribed by my G.P. The infection just was not clearing up, so I was referred to the hospital for a chest x-ray.

I soon received a call from my G.P who wanted to speak to me about the result of the x-ray. He told me that he had received the report from the hospital which had been collated by a senior Radiologist, and that it was not good news. The x-ray confirmed significant legions in the lower lobe of my left lung. My first thought was that the persistent chest infection had caused some scaring in that area, but he went on to say that because of the significant change he would be referring me to a Chest Consultant under the two week rule.

My husband is a doctor, and I am from a nursing background so we were fully aware that the two week rule was in place for urgent treatment where the implications indicated a diagnosis of cancer or something very sinister. I was stunned. I expected him to tell me to pick up a prescription for a course of different antibiotics. I had not anticipated what he told me and I just felt completely numb. I did receive an appointment with the consultant within that two week period.

The day before I went for the consultation, I visited Healing Rooms for prayer. The team were very reassuring and reminded me how much God loves me and that it was always His will for us to be healed. They spoke a good report over me, and quoted part of a scripture from the bible to me, which says: “A good report makes your bones healthy”  (Proverbs 15:30). I was also given healing scriptures to read aloud at home.

When I went into the consultation room the next morning, the consultant began by asking me why I was visiting him that morning. Thinking that he may be checking whether or not I was aware of the suspected diagnoses I explained to him the chain of events. I was completely thrilled and amazed when his response was “Well, I have your x-ray here, and there is nothing untoward whatsoever”. Initially, my nursing logic took over. I asked him if he was sure it was my x-ray! He confirmed my personal details as shown on the x-ray and assured me that as he had 30 years experience in this area of medicine, I could rely totally on his judgement. There were no indications or signs of neither cancer, legions, nor anything else that should not be there. I hadn’t had a second one taken, so this was the original x-ray which the report had been written about and God had changed the image on the x-ray! However, the consultant did do all the necessary checks – all clear. At my request, my own G.P. rang the consultant to confirm there had not been any mistake – no mistakes, it was all clear. That was over 18 months ago and I have not had any coughs or chest infections since. Praise God. He is faithful to His word. He is my healer”

Prayers bring strength

I have been receiving prayer over quite a long time for a shoulder injury and for a good, speedy recovery from surgery. At times, the pain was really bad and I felt very low. It is amazing how I have gained spiritual, emotional and physical strength from the prayers and the scriptures which the team have spoken over me. Through their words and God’s love I was  enabled to keep trusting and believing that  I would be completely healed, and now I am.  Praise God for His faithfulness.
